Its core business is electricity and gas, including the generation of electricity, trading, transport, and distribution of electricity and gas, and sale of electricity. SENA offers fully coordinated services, covering energy and industrial services, engineering and technical installations.

SUEZ Energy International, headquartered in Brussels, is the fifth largest independent power producer in the world and the fifth largest European electricity producer. The company has more than 70,000 employees, and branches or projects in over 100 countries.

SUEZ Energy North America is based in Houston, Texas, and is comprised of several business units. Through these subsidiaries, the company is involved in the development, acquisition, generation, trading, marketing, and distribution of electricity and natural gas and the importation, and storage of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
